AMARILLO, TX – Amarillo Sox staff member Ben Miller is expecting his first child in July and the Sox are giving fans the chance to win season tickets if they guess the birthdate correctly.
At all Sox home games for the remainder of June and the month of July, entry forms will be placed in the concourse of the Amarillo National Bank Sox Stadium. Fans will guess the date of arrival, time of day, weight, and length of Ben’s baby. The fan who is closest will receive two season tickets for the 2013 season. Existing season ticket holders will receive two of their 2013 seats for free.
Each guest at the stadium is limited to one guess. The expected due date is July 27. They are expected to have a boy named Lucas Henry Miller.
The winning guess will be the one closest to the actual date and actual time. In the event of a tie, the closest guess to the actual weight and length will be the winner. There is no fee to enter. Entries will be available at the stadium concourse starting Wednesday, June 27.
“It’s a very exciting time for me and my wife right now,” said Miller. “I like the fact that we are able to share this excitement with all our fans at the stadium.”
